Carmey Avdat Farm
In the heart of the Negev Mountains, along the ancient track of the Spice Route and on the remains of an ancient agricultural farm, 2000 years old, the Carmei Ovdat farm was established in 1998. The farm deals, among other things, with the cultivation of grapes in the vineyard and the production of wine in the winery. The produce of the winery is sold mainly on the farm to visitors staying in the area and groups who arrive for trips and wine-tasting. Some of the wine is sold by restaurants in the area and some is sold via the Internet and is delivered directly to those who place orders.
Amatzia’s Vineyard – Barkan Wineries
This is the popular name for the largest section of the wine vineyards in the Negev mountains area. These are the Barkan wine vineyards which, year after year, reap great success from the quality of wine produced from the grapevines of Mitzpe Ramon. One can observe the vineyards from Route 40, a moment before descending to Meishar Haruchot/the wind plane. In the future, a winery will be built here. Tel.: 050 5877102
